Reading British Spaces

Welcome to the website of the 2009 conference of the German Association for the Study of British Cultures, which will address conceptions and representations of space in Britain. Topics range from regional, national and social spaces to questions of space and identity in Britain as well as cases of virtual and lost spaces. As a special highlight, the author Patricia Duncker will offer some insights into literary constructions of space from her own work. See you in Paderborn! Merle Tönnies
