Ruth Hagengruber:
Philosophy's Task in Computation Science: Foundation or Critical Method?
Chair: Ruth Hagengruber, Co-Chair: Uwe Riss
Computational Approaches to Thoughts and Actions
This track encompasses the analysis of the interconnectedness of thoughts and actions
from a computational as well as from the philosophical point of view. Philosophical
criticism forced a broader understanding how thoughts and actions work in a synthesis.
Developments towards the “embodied mind” led to a variety of new concepts that pay
tribute to interconnected mind and action.
