The Graduate Week takes place once a year during the reading week (Whitsun week) and is organised in cooperation with the Graduate Forum KW.

The informal knowledge of the higher education system event takes place once a year. Invited postdocs and professors report on topics such as career paths, informal codes of the higher education system, networking, etc.

Subject-specific funding advice is provided by professors in the respective subject areas and offers subject-specific advice on funding for qualification projects.

Career paths outside academia - doctoral candidates in cultural studies report

Twice a year, the Graduate Centre KW invites cultural studies graduates from the faculty to report on their career paths.

Scholarship evening

At the scholarship evening, liaison lecturers from funding organisations and members of the Paderborn University Research Commission, which awards scholarships for doctoral students and postdocs in cultural studies, will talk to interested graduates about funding opportunities, deadlines and further information on scholarship applications.

Together with Anke Riebau and colleagues from the International Office, we will provide information about the opportunities for academic employees, doctoral candidates and postdocs to spend time abroad at the information event.
