Initial registration and registration after interruption (of at least one semester)
As exchange students from partner universities or master students in English-language courses at the University of Paderborn you can participate in the Crash course in the winter and summer semester. Here you have the opportunity to improve your language skills for everyday life at university and in your private life.
Due to the current situation of the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the courses are usually offered as online courses.
Application:
You can use the online forms here to apply for a course place. You will be notified by e-mail whether you have been placed in the German course. If there are more applications than course places, the course places will be drawn by lot. If you have received a place but do not wish to attend the course, please let us know quickly by e-mail.
Lessons:
Your teaching time is 80 teaching units (UE) per course. You will be informed by your teachers about how the teaching time is organised. Since the lessons will be held online, the times can be arranged flexibly. If you successfully complete the course, you will receive 5 ECTS.
The course will probably take place in presence. In any case, the placement test will be done digitally.
