Examinations and final work

Please note the requirements for your final module examinations within the examination regulations that apply to you.

You can find them here.

For the supervision of theses in the Special Needs Education and Inclusion working group with a focus on emotional and social development, please contact us during a consultation hour. There you will first clarify whether the topic you have in mind can be supervised by us. If this is the case, you will then submit an exposé, which must be prepared in accordance with the above criteria ("Notes on preparing an exposé"). On the basis of your synopsis, we will then decide whether we will supervise your thesis.

  • We assume that you are able to carry out your literature research in the specialised databases of the university library. In particular, we expect you to be able to use databases that access the relevant academic journals. When submitting your exposé, please provide us with a certificate from the University Library confirming your participation in the training course "Finding literature in databases".
  • Please refer to the file "Reader on academic work in the Emotional and Social Development specialisation" for binding information on writing theses
  • All general information on final theses in the teacher training programmes can be found on the PLAZ page "Information on final theses in teacher training programmes".
  • Further supervision arrangements will be discussed individually with the supervisor.

From 1 January 2026, the adapted regulations for the supervision of the professional internship in the Emotional and Social Development specialisation will apply.
