How to get to the Liborianum
Start: Hauptbahnhof/Main Station Paderborn
By bus

From each of these stops, the Liborianum can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes (See “2. On foot”).
On foot
After leaving the station, head towards the city centre by turning right on the Bahnhofstraße in the direction of Westerntor. After 450 m, cross the street to continue onto Westernstraße (there's a large fountain at the beginning). Stay on Westernstraße for about 400 m, pass the city hall on the left and head towards the square near the Cathedral ("Dom"). Continue walking along the parking area until you reach the crossroads. There, turn left onto Kasseler Straße. Follow the Heierstraße and turn right onto An den Kapuzinern (there's a garage at the corner). The Liborianum is front of you, with a tree in front of the church.
By car
The Address of the Liborianum is An den Kapuzinern 5-7, 33098 Paderborn. A parking space is available.

Stop: Westerntor
From Westerntor, the hotel can be reached on foot (see “2. On foot”).
On foot
After leaving the station, head towards the city centre by turning right on the Bahnhofstraße in the direction of Westerntor. After 450 m, cross the street to continue onto Westernstraße (there’s a large fountain at the beginning). Continue until you reach a plaza with a gothic-styled pinnacle in the middle and a large construc tion site on the north side. To the left of that construction site is an alley that leads downhill towards the park. You will find the hotel on your left hand side at the end of that path, just in front of the park.
By car
The hotel is located at Bachstrasse 1, 33098 Paderborn. Please note that there is no parking space in the direct vicinity of the hotel. The hotel’s personnel will give you an access key and direct you to the hotel’s parking upon registering.

By car
The hotel is located at Giersmauer 35, 33098 Paderborn. Please note that there is no parking space in the direct vicinity of the hotel. The hotel’s personnel will direct you to the parking space upon registering. In the meantime, you can park at the large parking area near Maspernplatz (in front of the concert hall Paderhalle). A small fee is required.
Call for Papers
This workshop aims to gather ongoing research pertaining to the history of the Spanish Netherlands from roughly 1650 to 1700 and to attempt a reappraisal of their position within the European power struggles as well as within the Spanish Empire.
