With the 19th century, technical-scientific developments have become a formative factor of modern culture. The Applied Ethics working group associated with the Heinz Nixdorf Institute focuses on technology ethics in the digital world analyses technical visions, human-technology relations and socio-technical transformations as well as normative and epistemic challenges of these developments.

Call for Ab­stracts – Work­shop Deutsches Mu­seum München

From 18 to 19 June 2026, the VDI and GUG will host the workshop “...never neutral”: Practices, concepts and methods of evaluating technology over the last 50 years at the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
