The working group on special educational needs and inclusion with its focus on school development and teaching research is dedicated to various questions concerning the current status of inclusion and its genesis in relation to school, teaching and teacher professionalism against the background of an expanded understanding of inclusion. Additionally, the potential of different theories and interventions in relation to inclusion-related development at different levels, from the individual school to the educational system, is analysed.
