EW Research Workshop

The Education Studies Research Workshop provides a space for collaborative reflection on (educational) research.

Undergraduates, PhD students and other interested parties with research questions in the field of Education Studies are invited to contribute their own ideas, refine their research questions and reflect on methodological challenges through group discussion.

Consultation hours

The Research Workshop’s open consultation hours provide a space for spontaneous questions, prompt feedback and support with educational research projects. They are aimed at anyone who needs straightforward feedback, guidance or methodological assistance.

During term time, the consultation hours take place in person on Mondays from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm (H5.242); during the summer break, they are held online (click here for the room). No registration is required!

(Please always note the latest information at the bottom of this page!)

The project consultation session is aimed at students, PhD candidates and other interested parties with more extensive educational research projects or in-depth research-related questions. It provides a forum for more detailed advice and support in further developing research questions, research designs or methodological challenges. To ensure the session is tailored to your needs, you can (and should) submit outlines, drafts or other working materials in advance.

The project consultation session takes place online every Tuesday from 10 am to 11 am, subject to prior registration (click here to register and access the online seminar room).

The Paderborn Working Groupon Documentary Reconstructions(PADeR) meets approximately every four weeks during the lecture term. The aim is to work directly on case studies using material provided by the ‘members’. The group is open to anyone who is currently working with the Documentary Method or is considering doing so in the future.
