Prof'in Dr Nina Göddertz: Continuation of the digital lecture series "Ways to a didactics of social pedagogy"
Prof'in Dr Nina Göddertz and Prof'in Dr Anke Karber
"Empiricism from social pedagogical practice and its contribution to the didactics of social pedagogy in social pedagogical qualifications"
We would like to deepen the exchange and discussion about social pedagogical qualifications with different perspectives and therefore invite you to the joint digital lecture series "Wege zu einer Didaktik der Sozialpädagogik" in the summer semester 2025.
The state of research in the field of social pedagogical practice research, especially in the field of childhood, has increased significantly in recent years. Knowledge, action practices and attitudes are in demand. We dedicate ourselves to a section of this research and also discuss the necessary and pending systematisation of research findings for the didactics of social pedagogy.
Since the winter semester 2022/23, the lecture series has been dedicated to the broad range of topics on the didactics of social pedagogy in social pedagogical qualifications, especially social pedagogical vocational training courses.
The spectrum of social pedagogical qualification paths is diverse and differently located, at vocational schools, technical colleges, universities of applied sciences and universities. This raises several questions regarding the content and design of qualifications, ranging from theoretical references and knowledge bases, conceptual and methodological approaches, questions about the diverse fields of action and target groups, organisational, socio-political and legal frameworks, to questions about the reflection and interaction skills to be acquired by professionals. These didactic questions are currently most likely to be addressed in the context of full-time socio-educational vocational training programmes - above all in educator training. Due to the limited formulation and relatively thin evidence base on the didactics of social pedagogy, the lecture series, as well as an anthology currently in development, is dedicated to the various approaches to the didactics of social pedagogy in relation to the educational, learning and qualification processes of future social pedagogy professionals. Although inspired by the context of social pedagogical vocational training contexts, the lecture series, like the anthology of the same name, is open to the entire spectrum of social pedagogical qualifications.
The contributions deepen the understanding of the historically evolved system of socio-educational qualifications as well as the structural challenges of vocational training programmes and intensify the theoretical discussion on teaching and learning in socio-educational training programmes. The lecture series is aimed at students, teachers and academics in the context of the vocational specialisation of social pedagogy - but all other interested parties are also very welcome!
We look forward to exchanging ideas with you,
Prof Dr Nina Göddertz (Paderborn) and Prof Dr Anke Karber (Lüneburg)
