The findings gained so far as part of the project were published in December 2023 under the title "A colourful 'bouquet of flowers' of practice phases - design tasks and development needs in teacher training in social pedagogy" in the special issue "Fachdidaktik Care Work" of the journal "berufsbildung - Zeitschrift für Theorie und Praxis".

In their article Junior Professor Dr Nina Göddertz and Michelle Schmökel highlight historical developments of practical phases in teacher training and an 'early' demand for a reference to the professional field in the context of didactics of social pedagogy and discuss initial empirical findings on practical phases in teacher training in social pedagogy as well as the resulting design tasks and needs for the (further) development of didactics of social pedagogy.
