Dr Christoph Wiethoff

Welcome to my homepage. The focus of my work is on the interlinking of theory and practice and research-based learning - especially in the school internship semester ("Praxissemester"). The main areas of focus include practical research, counselling and coaching in schools, transition research and school development counselling.

One of my main tasks is the coordination of all educational science components of the school internship semester (in particular preparatory, accompanying and accompanying research seminars). In­form­a­tion for stu­dents

Here you will find information on my consultation hours (appointments can only be booked in KOMO), on the examinations that you can take with me: MAP1 (final module examinations "Learning in lower secondary level") and final theses as well as an overview page on the educational science components of the school internship semester.

Teach­ing

I mainly teach as part of the school internship semester (teacher training masters, especially HRSGe & GyGe). I regularly offer accompanying educational science and accompanying research seminars. I am also responsible for coordinating the "Module 1 specialisation" ("Vertiefung Modul 1" - which is studied in conjunction with the school internship semester) and offer corresponding individual courses.

I also teach at irregular intervals as part of the two-subject Bachelor's degree programme in Education Studies as well as in the subject area of Education on the topics of communication, group dynamics and counselling.
