Specialisation Module 1 (practical semester)
The seminar "In-depth Module 1" is part of the Master's degree programme in Educational Science, more precisely the in-depth seminar in Educational Science Module 1 (5LP) of the following degree programmes:
- Teaching degree for HRSGe (M. Ed.) - BiWi Module 1: Learning at lower secondary level
- Teaching degree for GyGe (M. Ed.) - BiWi Module 1: Learning and Development
This course is studied in connection with and close in time to the practical semester (cf. respective PO), but is not part of the practical semester and therefore has no influence on the passing of the latter.
The basic structure of the seminar consists of students independently compiling offers (online and face-to-face workshops) from a catalogue. A total of 24UE must be collected for qualified participation and a final reflection must be prepared. Participation in the evaluation of the practical semester (by the PLAZ) is honoured in this seminar. If you do not take part in the evaluation, you will collect 26UE.
Further information on the Module 1 specialisation can be found here.

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
According to the examination regulations, the seminar is studied in the second semester parallel to the practical semester. In terms of structure and content, it is designed accordingly and, in our opinion, is useful for supporting the study project, for example. However, you can also study the seminar in a later semester.
