On October 24th, 2016 a ceremony for the inauguration of the first European center, dedicated to the research into the history of women philosophers and scientists, led by Prof. Dr. Ruth Hagengruber, will be held at Paderborn University. The ceremony will be opened by Svenja Schulze, the Science Minister of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Among others, Prof. Dr. Mary Ellen Waithe of the Cleveland State University in Ohio, who is teaching at the Center this October, will be attending and giving a ceremonial speech.
