We look forward to our conference "Unlocking the Byzantine Qurʾān" from August 29th to 31st, 2022 in Paderborn. The conference aims systematically to engage with the Qurʾān in its Byzantine context and to explore elements of Qurʾānic theology, historiography, and liturgy that seem intertwined with Eastern Roman political, religious and cultural history.

Wir freuen uns auf unsere Konferenz "Unlocking the Byzantine Qurʾān" vom 29. bis 31. August 2022 in Paderborn. Die Konferenz zielt darauf ab, sich systematisch mit dem Qurʾān in seinem byzantinischen Kontext auseinanderzusetzen und Elemente der qurʾānischen Theologie, Historiographie und Liturgie zu erforschen, die mit der oströmischen politischen, religiösen und kulturellen Geschichte verwoben scheinen.
