Centre for Comparative Theology and Cultural Studies

Welcome to the Centre for Comparative Theology and Cultural Studies (ZeKK) homepage!

We are an interdisciplinary research institute at the University of Paderborn, characterized by the collaboration of different theologies and cultural studies in a research network. In addition to research, it is also possible to study at the ZeKK and complete a dual subject Bachelor of Comparative Theology or the dual subject Master of Theologies in Dialogue with different specialisations. In addition, the ZeKK offers a variety of programmes that enrich both student and academic life. Some of these offers are intentionally aimed at those generally enthusiastic about the dialogue of religions and the perspectives involved on the relationship between religion, culture and society.

We kindly invite you to take a look at our homepage and the related platforms and get an idea of our diverse activities in research and teaching. You are also welcome to follow us on our social media channels or subscribe to our newsletter so that you no longer miss any important information.

Best regards
Yours
Prof. Dr. Zishan Ghaffar
Chairman of the ZeKK
