Image | Events | Future - German university marketing against the backdrop of demographic change
On 22 June, images, eventisation and a possible future for university marketing against the backdrop of demographic change were discussed at length on the 7th floor of the university as part of POP20. Moderated by Prof.in Dr.in Beate Flath (event management with a focus on pop music cultures and digital media cultures), Carola Pense (Garage33, cultural producer, Die Kuppel) and Dr. Dominik Nösner, research assistant (event management with a focus on pop music cultures and digital media cultures) and operator of gwlb, Wohlsein, shared their knowledge and experience on the topic and eagerly discussed their own experiences, opportunities and risks with the audience. Specifically, they discussed spaces and structures, relationships, motivations and the institutionalisation of processes with regard to university competition and location marketing. The exchange was so fruitful and interesting that the desire to repeat it on an even larger stage in the near future remained.
