On Wednesday, 25 March, the Open Access Talk will take place for the sixth time at Paderborn University. From 12.30 to 13.30, Timo Neuhausen from the Institute for Talent Research in Music and Laura Kupke from the Department of Education Studies, Art, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Textiles at the University Library will report online via Zoom on the publication of an Open Access journal in the Diamond OA model (without APCs).

On 5 March 2026, the second network meeting as part of the NachhaltigkeitsKulturOWL research project took place in the former Marstallcafé at the Schlosspark und Lippesee-Gesellschaft. After a presentation of current developments in the research project, a joint workshop was held to discuss what is needed for more sustainability in the cultural sector.

We offer the following degree programmes: Popular Music and Media (B.A. & M.A.), PopMediaCulture (M.A.), Teacher Training Programme Music for Primary Schools, Secondary Level I and Special Needs Education (B.Ed. & M.Ed. respectively). You can also obtain the "Basic singing and music-making skills in primary schools" certificate from us.

Pader­born Pop­dozen­tur

Since 2014, the Popdozentur has been promoting exchange between urban society and prominent and renowned professionals from the broad field of the music and media industries through seminars, workshops, projects, talks, round tables, etc.
