Hints and tips on literature research and management
Licences for the knowledge organisation and literature management software Citavi are available free of charge for Paderborn University students.
The VPN client allows you to conveniently dial into the campus network from anywhere. In this way, you can also access the databases and journals that have been activated for the campus network from your home PC, for example. This should be of particular interest to students who do not spend their lecture-free time in Paderborn but still need to carry out literature research.
The Paderborn University Library catalogue contains not only books and journals but also e-books, e-journals, CDs and DVDs. The "Central Discovery Index" also includes links to various databases.
The homepage of the "Theory and History of Popular Music" department at the Humboldt University in Berlin provides a further collection of links to additional resources.
In addition, numerous academic publishers, such as Springer Link Verlag, Transcript-Verlag and De Gruyter, make many works available as open access.
