The conference "Unlocking the Byzantine Qurʾān" took place from August 29th to 31st, 2022 in Paderborn. The conference aimed to engage systematically with the Qurʾān in its Byzantine context and to explore elements of Qurʾānic theology, historiography, and liturgy that seem intertwined with Eastern Roman political, religious and cultural history.
