News
March 6, 2025: Good news: Our workshop proposal on "When linguistics meets (English) language education: Classroom Linguistics in Germany" got accepted at Anglistiktag 2025 in Essen and we hope to see many familiar faces there.
Classroom Linguistics
We are a group of scholars based in Germany who all work at the intersection of linguistics and foreign language education. This interest group wants to connect (with) academics working in these disciplines, bring together like-minded scholars and practitioners, provide a platform for academic exchange and networking and make research (projects) visible. The SIG was initiated in 2023 by Dr. Katharina v. Elbwart (Paderborn University) and Dr. Philipp Meer (University of Münster).
We use a Moodle platform to share publications, presentations, useful websites and anything else related to Classroom Linguistics. If you wish to have access, please get in touch with us.
