Student Conference Exploring Linguistic Worlds
This linguistic conference aims at exploring linguistic "worlds". It is intended to cover a broad range of research concerned with the way language is used and constructed within these different worlds. We will be especially interested in promoting strongly empirical work.
The conference offers UPB students of English Linguistics enroled in designated courses an opportunity to give an account of their own research in the form of an oral presentation (15 minutes plus 5 minutes discussion) to other students. It also provides an opportunity to share and discuss research results and ideas amongst peers, to get feedback on the projects and to present findings in a semi‐professional context.
The conference is open to the public. Please join us!
The next conference takes place on Saturday January 20th from 9 am - 4 pm. The Schedule can be found here.
Conference Venue
The conference will be held in building J (4th floor) at the University of Paderborn, Warburger Str. 100, 33098 Paderborn, Germany.
