KWir - Tandem Program between PhD Candidates and Postdocs
The Graduate Center strives to promote exchange between doctoral candidates and postdocs at our faculty, with the goal that doctoral candidates at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities can benefit from experiences of postdocs. The tandem program is not intended to be a long-term mentoring program, but rather to facilitate direct contact between doctoral candidates and postdocs within the faculty.
Conversations should generally focus on interdisciplinary issues related to further academic qualification and/or career planning. The tandem pairs will of course decide themselves which questions should be discussed in detail and how often the contact should take place. Anda-Lisa Harmening supports both conversation partners in reaching an understanding on these questions. Confidentiality is required regarding the content of the conversation and the arrangement of the tandem pairs.
Interested doctoral students are invited to contact Dr.in Anda-Lisa Harmening for information about the tandem program and to express their interest. We try to identify suitable tandem pairs and thus also promote the exchange within the faculty and between different status groups. The exact form this matchmaking will take can be found in the tandem program schedule.
