In the postdoc phase and as a junior professor (Juniorprofessor*in), career orientation and the acquisition of the necessary skills are particularly important, as future-oriented career decisions are made. International experience, exchange and networking are essential for different professions and scientific career paths. The postdoc phase offers many opportunities to realize a stay abroad, e.g. as a research or teaching stay, to initiate or deepen collaborations as well as to gain special expertise abroad.
