| If you are interested and in need of further education, please inform yourself about offers for language training, for the acquisition of interdisciplinary qualifications as well as for networking and social integration for doctoral students. For this purpose, you are welcome to register for the mailing list of the Graduate Center of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. |
If necessary, regular review of the residence permit | Please check your residence permit regularly: If the duration of your doctoral project is delayed beyond the period stated there, you will have to extend the validity of your residence permit. If you change your field of study during your doctorate, you may need to apply for a new residence permit, as this may be considered a change of purpose. This also applies if you take up employment during your doctorate which exceeds an employment volume of 120 full or 240 half days per year. Especially in the latter two cases, please contact the Foreigners' Registration Office immediately. Please also remember to extend the residence permit of any accompanying family members in good time, if applicable. |
