Excellent doctoral dissertations can be nominated for doctoral prizes by the reviewers and/or the authors. The Faculty of Cultural Studies and the Paderborn University offer the following prizes once a year:

• Doctoral Prize KW
• UPB Doctoral Prize

Furthermore, doctoral candidates can apply for printing subsidies . A list of application possibilities can be found below.
