Teaching language internationally – Sign up for collaborative class with the University of Alberta, Canada!

In summer term 2021, Dr. Katharina von Elbwart and Dagmar Keatinge will offer an international collaborative “Teaching Language” class as part of the TEFL requirements for the BEd degree. The class is co-taught by Dr. William Dunn from the Secondary Education Department at the University of Alberta and both BEd students from UPB and the UofA are able to sign up for this class. The online sessions are delivered synchronously over a period of 7 weeks (May-June), and participants will work together in German-Canadian groups. This class offers a great and new opportunity for students to connect internationally - so please join via PAUL if you are interested in being part of this exciting project.

The collaboration is part of the Alberta-OWL network project "We CAN virtuOWL" and has received seed-funding by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the BMBF.
