Against the backdrop of the Middle East crisis and its effects, the Seminar for Jewish Studies and the Paderborn Institute of Islamic Theology would like to come together for a fireside chat on Tuesday, 5 December and address the following questions: What can the dialogue between theologies contribute to current world events? How can constructive religious-political impulses from Jewish theology and Islamic theology be developed in times of social conflict? Are humanisation and pacification strategies possible? Where and when does the dialogue of theologies reach its limits?
