ZIP'N'SWAP: The clothes swap party in the silo

Location: Silo

It's time again to renew your wardrobe and protect the environment at the same time. On Wednesday, 26 June, the "ZIP'N'SWAP clothes swap party" will take place at Silo from 5 pm. Guests can immerse themselves in a world full of style, good music and an exuberant atmosphere. The event was organised as part of the "Slow Fashion" seminar led by Saskia Dettmar and Professor Alexandra Kürtz from Paderborn University.

Together with the students and teachers of the "Slow Fashion" seminar in the textile department, the organisers want to set an example for sustainable fashion and against the throwaway mentality of the fast fashion industry. The focus is not only on swapping clothes, but also on socialising and celebrating a vibrant fashion culture.

At the event, interested parties have the opportunity to swap the clothes they have handed in beforehand for new favourite items from other participants. The "FABRICation" is also part of the event. Here, guests can upcycle their new treasures and give them a new look. Various DJ sets round off the evening.
