10th IASPM D-A-CH Collegium Musicum Populare (CMP), 25-26 July 2025 Paderborn University: Current research: Theories, methods and perspectives

The Collegium Musicum Populare (CMP) is a regular workshop organised by the German-speaking branch of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM D-A-CH), which promotes professional and personal exchange between students, graduates, doctoral candidates, post-docs and professors in the broad field of Popular Music Studies. Here we exchange ideas on ongoing projects - be it theses, doctoral dissertations, post-doctoral theses or research projects. The whole event is inter-generational, inter-disciplinary and multi-perspective. Presenters are cordially invited to present their 'work in progress' as part of an open-ended and protected symposium. Inclusivity and open discussions at eye level are important here. Students and doctoral candidates also have the opportunity to take part in the CMP without having to make a contribution of their own. The 10th CMP of IASPM D-A-CH will take place at C:POP of Paderborn University, follow-up report to follow.
