Call For Pitches Graduiertenwoche 2026

Are you currently working on a project, presentation, essay and/or would you like to discuss previous theses from research projects (e.g. doctoral or postdoctoral theses) together?

Then register for the pitch format!

As part of the Graduate Week 2026, there will be a format for peer exchange on emerging research projects. We will allocate 20-minute slots per researcher, which will be available for a short presentation of the research question/work hypothesis (5-10 minutes) and the subsequent discussion. For this open format, there is therefore no binding topic or form of presentation. Rather, we want to engage in a transdisciplinary exchange, facilitate collegial feedback and, for example, discuss initial research ideas. Poster presentations are also very welcome! In the sense of the term pitch (short presentation of a project) used in the marketing sector, you can therefore convince an interested audience of your research approaches within the framework of the format.

Applications canbe sent to Dr Anda-Lisa Harmening(gradz@kw.uni-paderborn.de) by 16 January 2026, stating your subject area and a brief description of your research question/thesis. If the registrations exceed the available presentation slots, first come first served applies.

Further information can be found in the Call for Pitches for more information.

We look forward to the exchange!
