As part of the public lecture series "Schule der Vielen - Bildungsperspektiven für eine heterogene Gesellschaft", the theatre performance "Beyond the lines" by Susanne Höcker and Jürgen Larys from artENSEMBLE THEATER Bochum will take place on Tuesday, 14 July.

Under the title "Cultural Perspectives on Gender", the international lecture series of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Paderborn University in the summer semester 2026 is dedicated to the topic of "gender" from interdisziplinär and international perspectives.

On Wednesday, 5 August, Prof Dr Sebastian Kurtenbach, professor of political science and social policy at Münster University of Applied Sciences and private lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Ruhr University Bochum, will be our guest at 6 pm.

On Wednesday, 2 September, Dr. Joachim Valentin, associate professor of religious and cultural theory at Goethe University Frankfurt a. M. and director of the Catholic centre "Haus am Dom" in Frankfurt a. M., will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.

On Wednesday, 9 September, Lamya Kaddor, member of the German Bundestag, Islamic scholar, religious educator and publicist, will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.

Under the motto "KW writes (better) together", the Graduate Centre of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (GKW) and the Writing Competence Centre organise a monthly interdisciplinary writing group. The meeting on Thursday, 17 September, will take place from 9 am to 1 pm in room H3.241 and hybrid via Zoom.

On Wednesday, 23 September, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the annual Paderborn Foreign Language Day will once again take place at Paderborn University. At the main entrance to the university, the popular event offers around 30 training programmes on current topics and issues relating to modern foreign language teaching in English, French and Spanish.

On Wednesday, 7 October, Professor Dr. Georges Tamer, professor at the Chair of Oriental Philology and Islamic Studies at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Director of the Bavarian Research Centre for Interreligious Discourse (BaFID), will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.

On Wednesday, 4 November, Professor Dr. Michael von Brück, former head of the Interfaculty Study Programme in Religious Studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and now rector and spiritual director of the Domicilium Akademie Weyarn, will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.

A didactic conference on philosophy at Paderborn University

On Saturday, 21 November, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Paderborn University invites its graduates of the Bachelor's and Master of Arts study programmes as well as doctoral and postdoctoral graduates to a farewell ceremony. The graduation ceremony will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. in lecture theatre G.

On Wednesday, 2 December, Professor Dr Ahmad Milad Karimi, professor of Kalām, Islamic Philosophy and Mysticism at the University of Münster, will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.
