As part of the sustainability lecture series "UPB for Future", a lecture by Dr Larissa Eikermann, Dr Annika Hegemann and Dr Susanne Richter will take place on Thursday, 15 May at 4.15 pm in lecture hall L1. The lecture will shed light on how sustainability encompasses social as well as ecological and economic aspects.
As part of the event series "Paderborn Talks on the Culture of Remembrance", Prof. Dr. Frederek Musall will give a lecture in the AStA Gewölbekeller and shed light on the tension between divergent narratives in Jewish tradition and their influence on the culture of remembrance.
On Wednesday, 21 May, Prof. Dr. Merle Tönnies from the Institute of English and American Studies will speak on the topic ‘Power in/of the “Imagined Community”: The Instrumentalisation of National Identity in Current British Political Rhetoric’
