In the summer semester 2026, the Department of Art at Paderborn University will continue the digital discussion series "Silogespräche". Four assistants will use the example of art and exhibition institutions to discuss the specific fields of action for the presentation and mediation of contemporary art.

On Tuesday, 30 June, the Historical Institute of Paderborn University and the Association for History and Antiquity of Westphalia, Paderborn Department, are organising a joint lecture at the LWL Museum in the Imperial Palace. At 8 pm, Professor Dr Harald Müller from RWTH Aachen University will speak on the subject of "The seat of the empire: Charlemagne, his Aachen palace and his throne".

In the summer semester 2026, the Paderborn University) Studio Theatre will perform the play "FRAUENSACHE" by authors Lutz Hübner and Sarah Nehmitz.

As part of the public lecture series "Schule der Vielen - Bildungsperspektiven für eine heterogene Gesellschaft", CLAIM - Allianz gegen Islam- und Muslimfeindlichkeit will be holding a lecture on Tuesday, 7 July on the topic of "Antimuslim racism - challenges for school culture".

On Wednesday, 2 September, Dr. Joachim Valentin, associate professor of religious and cultural theory at Goethe University Frankfurt a. M. and director of the Catholic centre "Haus am Dom" in Frankfurt a. M., will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.

On Wednesday, 9 September, Lamya Kaddor, member of the German Bundestag, Islamic scholar, religious educator and publicist, will be a guest on "ZeKK live" at 6 pm.
