The didactic-empirical writing research summer school (dieS) will take place again in 2025. This year, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sara Rezat, it is dedicated to the topic of "Writing and Feedback" and will take place from 12 to 14 June in the O-Building. The focus will be on the relevance of feedback for writing and, in particular, the revision of texts.
The English-language lecture series "New Approaches to English Foreign Language Education" will take place again in the summer semester. Nihal Khote from Kennesaw State University will give the lecture on Monday, 16 June, on the topic of "Teaching content and language with multilingual English learners."
On Tuesday, 17 June, Prof. Dr Christian Bunnenberg from Ruhr University Bochum will speak on the topic of ‘By luxury steamer to the Mediterranean, Spitsbergen and the West Indies - the emergence of German cruise tourism between 1891 and 1914’
On Wednesday, 18 June, Junior Professor Dr Julia Eckel from the Institute of Media Studies will give a lecture on ‘Powers of AI Animation. Thoughts on Anymation & Tech-demo(cracy)s’
