The Centre for Language Studies (ZfS) organises language courses for all staff members of Paderborn University in several languages and on different language levels for the Internal Continuing Education Department. The ZfS will provide an overview of the languages spoken by members of the university and the additional languages they would like to learn on Wednesday, June 28, from 1 to 2 p.m. within the event series “International Tuesdays”. Using examples of English courses for staff, the presenters will show how the ZfS can support staff in improving language skills “on the job”.
This event addresses staff interested in languages or who wish to improve their language skills. The event will be held in German and English. Prior registration is not required. The link for the online event can be found on the website “International Tuesdays”.
About the event series "International Tuesdays
Various institutions and actors at Paderborn University present their work in the field of internationalization in a relaxed setting during the "International Tuesdays". The participatory format consists of a pulse lecture and a subsequent discussion and serves networking and inspiration. The motto: "Internationalization is fun!". The series of events usually takes place every Tuesday during the lecture period in the lunch break from 1 to 2 pm. Currently, the events take place online via Zoom.
