Diversity makes us strong – under this motto, representatives from the worlds of academia, business, politics and civil society celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Paderborn Belgium Centre (BELZ).

No more admission restrictions in future

Students on a cultural studies seminar at Paderborn University have created the podcast ‘Stadtspuren aus Stoff’. To do so, they visited places in Paderborn that have a special connection to the history of textiles and clothing, and used these to design a walking tour.

Thanks to the support of the Rotary Club Paderborn-Kaiserpfalz and other sponsors, the “Paderborn Visiting Professorship for Writers” and the accompanying programme of author readings in the “Contemporary German-Language Literature” series at Paderborn University continue.

After three years of development work, the scientists have created a freely accessible multimedia platform on which exciting stories can be read interactively by children.

The official ceremony for the awarding of the European Heritage Label took place in Brussels on Wednesday 22 April at the Art and History Museum. A delegation from Paderborn accepted the award on behalf of the urban river landscape Pader.

New "Evi:P" evaluation tool published

A new episode of "Blickfang", the student format of the TV teaching editorial team for the educational channel "nrwision", is online. In the current edition, presenters Anna Engelcke and Felix Handstein lead us through a varied programme.

In the summer semester, Paderborn University is once again inviting all interested parties to various public lecture series on numerous socially relevant topics. Teaching staff and researchers from the university's five faculties, as well as external experts, will address a wide range of scientific aspects each week.
